Vulnerability will make me happy!

A while ago I met up with Mollena who is, if you didn’t know so already, one of the most amazing people in the world! Since I started this blog, and since I got on Twitter she welcomed me in to this scene, and I quickly became a fan of hers.

When I met up with her, a lot of different things were discussed, and the subject of vulnerability came up, if only slightly. Being vulnerable is definitely part of the whole BDSM thing — Especially when you have to submit to someone. That’s really when you let yourself live. You are just as vulnerable taking charge of someone else’s life, I must add. You are opening up and showing parts of yourself that you’re not supposed to be allowed to have. That are taboo, so you’re being vulnerable while opening up to this. Telling someone you’d want them to shit all over you, and shovel it into their mouth, is really to put yourself out there, but if you dare take the step you might uncover things you’d never done otherwise.
At this meeting with Mollena I also got her a copy of her book signed, Toybag Guide: Playing with Taboo. Great book, for anyone daring to step or just take a peek, outside of their box.

Around this same time, I had come across this post from our beloved Scarlet Lotus “Vulnerability“, where zhe posts the following YT clip from TEDx, about (doh) vulnerability. Some how they both coincided in a really good way, both in time and for my mind. It helped me solve a lot of things. Which I am grateful for.

I thank you for this video, and I thank Mollena for the chat that made me fit it all together. Now I’m ever more secure in the kinky part of myself, and even more sure that it will be part of me feeling secure and happy in my life.

(I know we’ve been gone for a long while again. Life is life! But we’ve been keeping an eye on you)
